May 12, 2012 - Lake Geneva Marathon 8:15am at Lakefront Bridge, downtown, Lake Geneva
Marathon Walk Begins at Lakefront Bridge, downtown, Lake Geneva, in front of the Riviera building at 5:00am. Marathon, Euro Cross Country Marathon, and Half Marathon begin at Lakefront Bridge at 8:00am. 10k and 5k start at Library Park at 8:15am. Entry fees are $55 for marathon run/walk, 450 for half marathon, $35 for 10k, $30 for 5k and $45 for Euro Cross Country Run. CARA members receive $5 discount. Race day registration is allowed but there is a $10 late fee. All participants will receive a tech shirt. Finish medals will be awarded to finishers of the marathon, marathon walk, Euro Cross-Country, and Half Marathon. The start and finish line are located within Hopkin's Park. The 5K course is a flat, scenic route through DeKalb's premiere park. Race day registration for pre-reg and day-of registrants is from 6:30-7:30 a.m. Pre-race talk at 7:45 a.m. at Hopkins Park. Arrive early to ensure proper and accurate registration. Race organizers have put together a rolling course that will bring athletes through historic Batavia, Illinois, and along the Fox River. The course was designed to give first-time half marathoners a less-crowded alternative to other Chicago half marathons while also presenting a serious challenge
