Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is an after-school, curriculum-based program for 3rd - 8th grade girls that focuses on building positive body image and self-esteem through the power of running. Through ongoing research, Girls on the Run has developed a program that addresses risky behaviors that stem from low self-esteem and poor body image.
We provide the tools for girls to listen to their inner voices, and make decisions that respect themselves, their peers, and the community.
Lessons begin the week of March 4 and run twice per week for 10 weeks. (No lessons the week of Spring Break.)
The Girls on the Run 5K will be held May 19, 2013!

Register online only beginning January 9, 2013 at 10 am.
Minimum of 10 girls, maximum of 15 girls per team
