AARP Tax-Aide

Starting February 4 through April 12, the Village of Lake in the Hills is a host site for AARP Tax-Aide.

This free service, to low income, McHenry County seniors, offers the opportunity for citizens, age 62+, to have their taxes done by trained volunteers. If you're interested in this service, appointments are made on a first-come, first-served, basis starting in February. Appointments are on Mondays and Fridays between 9:00am and 11:00am, on the hour, and can be made by calling 847-960-7460.
