Cache Your Way Across McHenry County

Spend this fall geocaching your way through many of the beautiful sites of the McHenry County Conservation District. Caches will be placed in 15 different Conservation District sites. Sign-up to receive a list of coordinates and a questionnaire. Each cache will contain an answer to a corresponding question. You will need your own GPS unit to complete the program. To participate, please email smichael@mccdistrict.org with your full name, mailing address and the number of participants in your group or call the District's Main Office at 815.338.622. Complete questionnaires must be emailed to the same email address or mailed/dropped off at the Main Office by November 30. All completed entries will be entered into a drawing to win a free camping weekend at one of the District's six campgrounds. All groups completing the program will also receive a first edition McHenry County Conservation District geocoin. Geocaching is a great activity for all ages who enjoy hiking and being outdoors.
