Holiday Procrastinator?

With the crack of a pistol, tweet of a whistle, snap of a whip... whatever it takes to get this game started...it's official. The clock is running!  And for all of us who have procrastination tendencies... our final weeks of the year will be a non-stop race to fit it all in. If you are unsure of whether or not you fit into this category, let me help you.

You know you are a holiday procrastinator if:

-You had great plans to send out beautiful family photo Christmas cards with personalized notes to everyone who has ever sent you a card. Instead you put the kids in front of the tree, snap a photo on your iPhone then upload it to Facebook with the status "Happy Holidays. From the Schaefers."

-Last January you thought of some great homemade gifts, but you are using the hair dryer at 2 am on Christmas morning to make sure the glue is dry.

- It's Christmas Eve and you are still not sure if you've gotten everything on your list and you know you meant to buy wrapping paper, but realized you never did. Quick Tip: Newspaper works great and you can even say it's because you've "gone green."

-You've known for weeks...months even, exactly what websites you were going to order presents from, but you are still checking the mailbox on December 24th in hopes that they will arrive in time so you don't have to go with Plan B... a picture printed off that website - wrapped in newspaper.

If this sounds like it might be you over the next five weeks - then you are a procrastinator. Welcome to the club.  I was going to make membership cards, but I ran out of time.

May all your plans go off without a hitch this holiday season, BUT if you suddenly realize you forgot the stocking stuffers, head over to PlanitNorthwest.com and print out a few of our vouchers. You could even do it early - like today...or maybe tomorrow.
