Google Glass shows off new video

By Zach Walters - zwalters@shawmedia.com

Google released a new video today showing off its Glass project. The video offers a more realistic look at the wearable headset device, as opposed to its prior concept showing.

The preview showcases how users will be able to use voice commands to do things like send messages, record video or take pictures and search the web.

Google Glass is still probably a long way from launch, but it's fascinating to see the progression in its development. I'm still wary about the UI and how well the voice controls will work, but I won't deny that the concept alone still excites me.
