Searching for Sandhills

It's time to welcome back the Sandhill cranes.

Join the McHenry County Conservation District for Searching for Sandhills from 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 13 at Glacial Park, Wiedrich Education Center, 6512 Harts Road in Ringwood.

Sandhill cranes, state threatened birds, will be on their migration back from the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy a presentation to hear more about these magnificent birds.

There then will be a carpool to the marsh to try to catch a glimpse of them. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
