This weekend is jammed pack with some great events for you to choose from!

Jessica Jacobsen thinks you should check out the McHenry County Conservation District's Shelter from the Cold, to see how animals stay warm in the winter. The program begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Marengo Ridge, Shelter #1.

And help kick off the Woodstock "Tribute" Series at the Woodstock Opera House with Crosby, Still, Nash and Young cover band OHIO. OHIO performs at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Parents and kids also can get together to support the Crystal Lake Food Pantry with the BlackSmith Project Concert for Hunger at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake.
