COST & INFO: From ants to dinosaurs, from ethnographic to paleontological specimens, from 2 billion year-old items to more recent additions, Chicago’s Field Museum hosts one of the largest collections in the world. 42ND ANNUAL DOC HAZNOW CHILI OPEN GOLF CLASSIC

WHERE: Main Beach, 300 Lake Shore Drive, Crystal Lake
COST & INFO: Golfers will play one championship, 9-hole, par 32 course on the frozen lake. Golfing experience not necessary to participate. All foursomes receive a giveaway, chili and chance to win prizes. Decorate a sled and enter the Chili Open Best Sled contest. Cost: $115 per foursome. ANNUAL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
