Fox Lake Parade

Everyone Loves a Parade!

Come out and enjoy the Fox Lake Parade. Floats and bands line up at 9 a.m. at Grant High School. Parade starts at 10 a.m. down Grand Avenue to Rollins Road.

There will be an Arts and Crafts show, food and entertainment at Millennium Park. Fireworks display at dusk.

Summer Celebration

It's time to celebrate!

Join Cary for its Summer Celebration from 5 to 10:15 p.m. July 3 at Lions Park, 1200 Silver Lake Road in Cary.

Come out and hear two great bands, as Probable Cause performs at 5:30 p.m. and Libido Funk Circus at 7:45 p.m.

There also will be food and beverages available. But don't forget to stick around for the fireworks display beginning at dusk.

Admission is free. Parking is available for $5 on the grass and $10 on the pavement.

Independence Day Trolley Pageant

Combine your love for trains and independence!

Join the Illinois Railway Museum for its Independence Day Trolley Pageant on July 4.

Don't miss the annual parade of electrically-powered streetcars, “L” cars, interurban equipment and work cars at 1 p.m.

Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and grounds hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features live music from the West End Jazz Band.

Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for children.

Wonder Lake’s Annual Independence Day Festivities

Enjoy a full day of Independence Day fun!

Join Wonder Lake’s Annual Independence Day Festivities on July 4.

The fun begins with a parade at 1:30 p.m. The parade begins at Christ the King Church on the village’s east side, then proceeds south on East Wonder Lake Road before turning west onto Hancock Drive and stretching toward Center Beach.

Kids also will enjoy the “Kids Zone” with pony rides, face painting and more.

The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show team will perform at 4:30 p.m. on Center Beach, and fireworks will take place after dark over Wonder Lake.

Venture to the city's Emricson Park, located on the west side of town, for the Fourth of July Fireworks beginning at dusk.

Independence Day Parade

Celebrate your independence with a fun parade!

Don't miss Crystal Lake's Independence Day Parade at 1 p.m. July 5.

The parade route will start at the Municipal Building at the corner of Woodstock Street and Walkup Avenue, follow Dole Avenue, and end at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park.

The fireworks also will be on Monday at dusk over the lake.

Summer Concerts in the Park: Crystal Lake Community Band

What could be better than enjoying music by the beach?!

Join the Crystal Lake Park District for Summer Concerts in the Park. You can enjoy the sounds of the Crystal Lake Community Band at 7 p.m. July 5 at Crystal Lake Main Beach Band Shell, 300 Lakeshore Drive in Crystal Lake. This concert will be before the fireworks.

Check out this free concert and enjoy snacks from the concession stand or bring your own picnic dinner.
