Easter fun in McHenry County

With Easter just around the corner, McHenry County is booming with fun Easter-themed events for your family!

Easter might be April 4, but you can celebrate it a day early!

Head over to the Harvard-Diggins Library for the Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny Visit from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 3.

There will be milk, coffee, and doughnuts while supplies last. You also can enter for the Easter basket raffles.

And kids will have a blast with the egg hunt! The hunt will be divided into group: Ages 2 and younger at 10:30 a.m.; ages 3 and 4 at 10:45 a.m.; ages 5 to 7 at 11:15 a.m.; ages 8 to 10 at 11:45 a.m.

Prizes will be available for all children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Egg Hunt

Don't miss all the fun and "egg"citement!

Join the Huntley Park District for a chance to gather eggs filled with candy and see the Easter Bunny at the Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. April 3 at Deicke Park.

Kids and parents will have a blast looking for the special egg that holds a family pool pass to Stingray Bay Family Aquatic Center.

Children will be divided into age groups. The groups are 2-3 years old, 4-5 years old, and 6-8 years old.

Parking will be at the REC Center on Mill Street and then kids and parents will walk to Deicke Park.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is making a stop in Marengo before his big night!

Come to the Nature Center in Marengo for pictures with the Easter Bunny and the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 3. Pictures begin at 11 a.m.

The egg hunt times are divided based on age groups. Kids 2 to 3 years old hunt at 11:30 a.m.; kids 4 to 5 hunt at 11:40 a.m.; kids 6 to 7 hunt at 12:30 p.m.; and kids 8 to 9 hunt at 12:40 p.m.

This fun Easter event is free, but donations are being collected for the MORE Food Pantry.

Lunch with the Bunny

Before the Easter Bunny makes his rounds, he's looking to enjoy lunch with all his fans!

Bring your kids to Lunch with the Bunny at 11 a.m. April 3 at Old Towne Hall, 54 Brink St. in Crystal Lake.

In addition to lunch, there will be music, games, photos, gifts, and a whole bunch of fun!

Tickets are $12.50 and are available March 1 at Heisler's Bootery, Gymboree Play & Music and at www.downtowncl.org.
